The company is very old and specialized in writing materials. His pen activity started after the first war and ended in the sixties. Previously the models were imported from the United States. In the beginning, the brands of the company were SEMPER for the top of the range and SCRIPTOR for the less luxurious models. The inscription J.M. PAILLARD accompanied these two marks on the body of the pen. At the end of the 1930s, it was J.M. Paillard alone who would be engraved on the pens in the same way that the early SEMPER nibs were replaced by J.M.P.
