Description

Combined mechanical pencil penholder made in the trenches during the First World War by welding two rifle cartridge cases together. On 1 side there is the pen holder and on the other there is a mechanical pencil which is used by returning the ball in the cartridge. The engravings refer to the war on Belgian territory "NEUPORT 14-15-16" and "SOUVENIR - YSER". Very nice collector's item.
